Select a cut and review its action, camera direction, prompt, and references. Use first or last frames only when the selected model supports that input. They are not interchangeable with a general reference image.
If the scenario has changed, review the prompt regeneration notice before generating. Check the estimate and submit only the cuts you intend to generate.

Watch the result
Check the action, identity, camera movement, and sound instead of choosing from the thumbnail alone.
Compare alternatives
Use the cut's history to compare completed takes. Review a failure reason before retrying a failed request.
Apply your choice
Select the take to use, then play the surrounding cuts to check the transition and pacing.
Use draft mode when it is available
For supported Seedance 2.5 requests, draft mode lets you review a 480p version before making a 1080p final version. Compare the drafts, then make the selected eligible takes final. This is not a general upscaling tool for any uploaded video.
Finalization creates another take; it does not erase the draft. Check the new result and which take is selected before export. Eligibility can depend on the original generation, ownership, and age of the draft, so follow the current notice if finalization is unavailable.
